We supported our client with Due diligence setup and management – legal – technical – financial, Business/financial analysis and modelling, Project Teaser setup for investors and lenders, MoU/LoI/SPA agreements preparation and handling, advisory activities up to the sale closing. Professionals were also involved in plant performance evaluation and optimization as well as in O&M partner selection and related agreement preparation and negotiation.

We helped our client in the design stage of the plant up to its test and commissioning. This included location identification according to the best energy injection point, permitting support up to the final ready to build authorization, technology selection (modules, inverters, transformers), monitoring and remote control system selection, risk management processes and plant security strategy definition. EPC contractor agreement definition and RFP handling. Selection of EPC contractor. Operating and Maintenance (O&M) partner selection, based on agreed specifications and expected level of service. Assistance all over the construction phases up to test and commissioning of the plant.

Solar projects portfolio pipeline assembling and valuation. Advisory activities include the assessment of the various projects constituting the portfolio within their individual maturity stage, a ranking based on the quality of energy injection points to the grid, a benchmarking exercise for asset pricing according to general accepted market conditions and incentive tariffs, the preparation and handling of the bidding process up to the definition and management of project portfolio data room for investors evaluation and DD processes. Support to the sale of the portfolio. The prospective business planning, according to estimated energy yield based on selected technology, were also part of the engagement.
